Today I am going to show you how to disable/enable USB port in windows 7/10.
After Disabling USB ports in your computer you will not able to connect pen-drives to it, but don't worry at the last step of this website/blog it is written that how to enable your USB port after it get disabled.
Disabling USB ports does not means that it will disable you mouse or keyboard connected to yours computer's USB ports.
Step 1: GO to start menu and search for "regedit"
Here we are showing the images for windows 7 but don't worry, you have do the same thing for windows 10 and you will get similar images as shown below for windows 7:
Step 2: Open regedit and after opening double click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
Step 3: Now double click on "SYSTEM"
Step 4: Now double click on "CurrentControlSet"
Step 5: Now double click on "services"
Step 6: Now scroll down and search for "USBSTOR"and after that do single click on it.
Step 7: Now double click on start as shown below,
Step 8: Now if you want to disable all the ports, then you have to replace value data "3" with "4",
Step 9: Now if you again want to enable your USB port then you have to again come to the screen as shown in step 8, and you have to replace value data "4" with "3".
